Over the course of an hour, participants will explore Shinto gods and nature spirits, Japan's onsen bathing culture, the meaning behind names and identity, traditional yōkai folklore, and the emotional power of Japanese food culture — all through key scenes from the film.

Along the way, you'll learn 8+ Japanese words and phrases, practice writing kanji, and take part in hands-on activities like designing your own American yōkai and choosing your Japanese nickname.
